Two weeks ago my crew got stopped by a Highway Patrol officer.
My box truck was in violation of three laws.
1. no logo indentifaction
2. no log book.
3.no medical certificates.
I call back to the state of Kentucky( I live in NC) to ask if this was correct for a 350 Ford box truck. I was informed that any commercial truck over 10,000 lbs must meet these requirments.
I also had to get a federal DOT number. I have to call and see if we have to pull in weight stations in state and out of state.
Has anyone else had to deal with this?

no dec conc experience, demus,,, weigh stations, yes,,, placard'd mtls, yes,,, propane tanks req icc tags & paperwork avail from your propane supplier,,, log book - no,,, cdl - not under 25K gvw w/o air brakes, etc,,, we had no dot #s, either,,, sounds like ky law (not to be confused w/ky jelly law),,, hopefully they weren't carryin' over 10 cartons of cigarettes ;-)

let us know what happens - seems laws change in direct relation to financial need.
