 Edger polisher

I'm thinking of taking the plunge and buying an edge grinder/polisher. A few different mfgs make models in either 110 or 220. Any opinions on the difference. Obviously 110 can go anywhere, but would I be sacrificing needed torque for that convenience? I would be using it mostly for polishing but, I'd also be using it a fair amount for paint, etc removal. Thanks for the advice.

Whose edger uses 220V? That seems like an incovenience for an edger?

let me guess you have a werkmaster? The most expensive edger on the market. A guy up here I know runs 40 grits on one side of the machine and 150's everywhere else and only uses the 40 grit side by the wall.

HTC makes either 110 or 220. That's the reason for the question.
