i am making a top that is 63 by 25 and the sink is 31 by 21 and is at the left end leaving a 2 inch rim around 3 sides.i am trying to figure out a way to deliver it in one piece.i am reinforcing it with 1/8 inch metal .but i might cut it up and epoxy it back together at the job.i have made a couple other similar and they always crack

If you must seam it, I would seam it in the middle of the sink knockout creating two pieces with "horns" on each side. Alot easier to handle and thats the least amount of seam showing you can get. Is it a drop in sink or undermount? Its not really that long of a piece so you may be able to cast it in one piece. If the sink is a drop in, leave the cutout in place until time to install, this will give the opening a little rigidity. Also Im sure you know already but make sure it transports vertically! We have cracked our share as well. They also make a product called sink saver that is a metal frame you attach on the back side and the front side of the counter. They are pricey but they work like a charm. Keeps the entire counter very rigid for trans port. Hope this helps.

For transport we will take angle iron and clamps to clamp the weak points.
