Stamped driveways. I feel uncomfortable about them. The reason is due to plows in the winter. One wrong hit with the blade could take a piece of the concrete with it. Not even that, but over the years the blade wears the surface down. I do recommend to customers to shovel their driveways. But thinking on a larger scale for parking lots - these are plowed.

For the very concerns you have, there have been great advancements in surface friendly snow plow blades; such as those that manufacturer rubber snow plow blades, such as Cross Brothers Company, that are shock absorbant and adapt very well to uneven surfaces ... thus, providing a certain degree of surface protection.
