This is probably a very dumb question, but Im new to propane burnishers.

When I lower my Eagle burnisher to the floor a warning sound starts ringing. What am I doing wrong? This is my first time using it...obviously

Thats just the low oil level alert device. Pay no mind to it when tipping the buffer on the operator's RIGHT side to change pads. NEVER tip the buffer to the operator's LEFT side or oil will enter the carb and/or cylinder.

Always check the oil level daily before starting the engine.

If you ever hear that ringing noise when the engine is running, shut it off and check the oil level as it will most likely be low.

Change the oil and filter after every 50 hours of operation. Use MOBIL 1 10w-30 full synthetic oil as it will not break down like conventional oil.

Happy buffing!

MC,following is the owners manual and parts list for your Eagle Honda 13hp LP engine. I have also included links to the Eagle propane safety awareness manual. Your dipstick should have dimples on it for the proper oil level. Your engine takes 1.5 quarts of oil (with oil filter change).

If you need any repair parts and/or advice on the buffer, feel free to contact me anytime.
