i had a guy pressure wash a colored patio and he used a direct stream and you can see the swirl lines in the concrete.Any ideas how to fix this? The customer does not want to use a tinted sealer or overlays. Can i sand the surface?I'm open to all solutions. This is not stamped concrete just colored.Helpppppppp!

man i did the same screw up washing off the masons mess.i didnt see the swirls untill i sealed it and looked at it from a certain angle with the sun 2 minutes from setting with a full moon coming.but of coarse the homeowner saw it as soon as he walked up to it .i repolished the surface and stripped off the stain and swirl marks with diamond pads then restained and sealed.luckily it it an outdoor kitchen and was only 250 sq. ft. good luck

What about a mild acid etch? Have not run into this problem before, The acid may etch to the same depth as the pressure washer removed the paste. Just a thought

That was one of my ideas but i didn't know what ratio of water to acid to go with .I just don't want to screw it up anymore than it already is.This was a float finish so you can see all the impefections.

I would put on a short skirt, high heels and sheer blouse and go meet with mr. homeowner, bring the problem to a head and offer a solution. I think you on the other hand might find a pneumatic hammer as your only tool. You made a mistake and you're screwed. Tear it out and do it right next time. You're not the first -- i've been screwed many times. Take it like a man and quit acting like a pussy.

inez must have more money than time. At least the guy is looking for a way to fix a mistake. There are alot of guys out there who would just say "f"it, seal it up, demand payment and tear off in thier station wagons with bull float handles falling out

Tony, You can get the pressure washer back out with a larger fan tip and faux in the areas to hide the swirl marks. That is if it isn't sealed. gene
