 Acid stain on stamped driveway?

Hi all!

I have a driveway and patio that was poured and stamped a random cleft like apperance last november. Since then it has gotten quite a bit of effloresensce and turned it kinda of a drab grey, white, tan color.... It has not been a good temp to seal until now. It has not been sealed.

I have brickform acid stain in mission brown. Can this type of concrete (uneven and untroweled) be stained succesfully?

Thanks for your input on this!

You know, I replied to your other thread and now I read this one. What do you do for a living? I do believe in helping people out but after a while it has started to get old. Now don't take this personally but I have to vent a little here. Most of us here have spent very nice sums of money to go to classes, buy proper equipment and in alot of cases have spent time unpaid as sort of an apprenticeship to learn the proper techniques, products, temps, humidity, finishes, times, ways to clean, engraving, polishing, repairs, blah, blah, blah, $, $, $, $. All to be nice guys try to help DIYs out, sight unseen or at best with a visual and a half story. We burn up alot of $3.50+ fuel advertise, continue talking to other professionals and taking classes to stay on top of this wonderful industry of beautifying every piece of concrete we can. I appreciate a guy/gal that is handy and can do alot of different tasks becuase I am one too. However I don't go on the GM mechanics forum to learn how to properly rebuild the transmission I screwed up trying to rebuild myself without the proper training. I think everyone gets the jist of my rant. I'll shut up now. Maybe I'll feel better after dinner and a beer.

To answer your ?, tho. Clean it well and there shouldn't be an issue. Enjoy

WTF? I understand that your time is valuable. to answer yout question I am general contractor that just built my own home and i am not skilled in concrete, but i could carve your face out of a piece of wood. With that being said most of what i read around this forum is good helpful info. Isn't that is what this it is all about?

Where do you go when you have a problem that is not in your area of expertise?

Don't take this the wrong way but i think some of you take yourselves a little to seriously.

I thank you for your time and next time i will limit myself to only one question per day!
