The color will be like the wet potion you have there when sealed maybe a touch darker if you are using a solvent based acrylic. If you absolutely don't like the color and want it darker, more brown, etc. don't seal yet. Get yourself some Smith's stain in the color you want and go back over it with that then seal.
Looks good to me but I guess it may look bad with the color of the house.

Thank you very much for your reply. I was wanting kinda "antiqued " tan or brown look....the moddeling and varigated look is great but this is very orange just like rust in color.
I put some on my garage floor to see if it would be the same and it actually turned brown like it was supposed to.
The driveway was poured in Nov. Could the calcium be reacting with the stain to produce this effect?
This is about 1/5 of the job and i stopped in horror.
Is there anything i can do so the rest of the job goes better?
I thank all in advance!

If you do get the smiths to go over what you have then you'll need to acid stain the rest of it to produce the same color through out. Acid stain with the same dilution clean the use the Smiths over all of it. Wait over night and seal. You'll be very happy!

You mean just highlight in some areas with black? or go over the whole thing with a dilluted mix of black?

Nice work eco, sometimes the oxides look a little more prominent on exterior slabs. With a solvent sealer, that slab would look really nice, you must have treated that slab like a baby during curing time

highlight with black. don't dilute, you'll get brown. spot accenting. some areas heavier, other areas lighter. let dry, then hit the whole thing with plain water. next day, see what you have. if you want more accenting, repeat in other areas.

Be careful trying that. It will work nice when you still have the residue from your previous stain, but when you have washed all the residue off, it may turn out looking like blobs of dark brown/black color. If you try this, I would wet down the slab first and as it dries spot on the black. The wet areas will help "soften" the edges of where the black meets the redish color. Id also dilute the black about 10:1 for a brown color. 100% black will be pretty dark.
