Has anyone ever stamped stair rasiers? If so did you strip the form early to stamp the still soft concrete or mix a slurry and add later? Any info or tips?

Liners make it easiest based on your pattern.(walttools.com) If you are stripping then stamping, takes a bit to get timing down.

Ive always stripped the forms color and stamp all at the same time. Form liners are good but only when using integral color.

Mc .

Do you have any pictures. Thanks for the help. Do you add calcium to the mix to get it to set faster?

Is there a video that shows how to do this? I want to try it. How hard is the concrete by the time you remove the forms?

Form liners are tough to beat as long as you are not using color hardeners. plain concrete with color wash 5 days later
