I recently had an experience that taught me alot about the tenacity of even some the best sealers available. After sealing a patio we did, days later the homeowners let their dogs, both weighing in about 120 pounds each, run across the patio continuously, somewhere in the area of a month or more period of time, resulting in a an abundance of holes punctured through the sealer, some even gouging the concrete below. While the dogs waste is a consideration, especially inside, pay no less attention to the acute damage that unclipped nails and weight can inflict.
