Stamped concrete may be colored and textured in many different ways. The classical way of stamped concrete is for the contractor to use a dry shake Color Hardener and a Release Powder. Both this products have color and you should alway pick a darker release color over a lighter color Hardener to achieve varigated, contrasting color, it does not work well the other way around. Good color combinations to pick are are Light Gray CH-Dark Gray RP, Light Brown CH-Dark Brown RP, Red Ch-Dark Gray RP or Dark Brown RP. Another way of stamping concrete is using Integral Colors. Integral Color Concrete means the color is throughout the thickness of the slab and the color is pre mixed with the concrete. After the concrete is poured it is stamped using either a liquid or powder release. Acid Stain is yet another option that can be added after the concrete has hardened.
