Housing for Transfer Students

Due to the significant demand for University Housing and our limited occupancy capacity, transfer students are strongly encouraged to explore alternate housing options which have been outlined here for convenience.

Alternative Housing Options

• TU has a partnership with Capstone On-Campus Management which operates  Review their site to learn more about their application process and availability.  and are not operated by the university. Any monies paid to Capstone Properties cannot be transferred to the university.

Spring 2026 Academic Year Housing

The Spring Housing Request form will open on November 5, 2025 at 12:00pm EST via the . Spring Housing is on a first come, first serve basis based on the amount of availability we will have.

Receiving a Housing Offer as Space Becomes Available: As spaces become available, students are offered housing via their Towson University email address with instructions on how to complete the housing offer process. Students must accept the housing offer by completing the Housing Contract and submitting a $350 non-refundable Housing Advance Payment by the offer due date, typically 3-4 days of receiving the offer or the offer will expire and the student will be removed from the waitlist.

2026-2027 Academic Year Housing

As previously mentioned, on-campus housing for transfer students is very limited so we strongly encourage you to explore alternative and off-campus housing options noted above. The Fall 2026 Housing Request Form will go live on March 16, 2026 at Noon EST and will close on . 

Gender-Inclusive Housing

All housing assignments are made based on legal sex unless the student requests Gender Inclusive Housing. Gender-inclusive housing can be requested during the application process.

Medical Accommodations

Students with medical housing needs must request accommodations through the Office of Accessibility and Disability Services. Medical accommodations can only be requested after a student completes the housing application process.
